The Narradnera lads, Luke and Simon, and Support worker Jason had the time of their lives on their latest trip, with a day packed full of fun, laughter, and a bit of magic. Their big adventure started bright and early with a hearty breakfast at McDonald’s in Fyshwick to fuel up for the day ahead. After that, they headed to the Harry Potter Wizards Shop, a place full of wonder and enchantment that delighted everyone. Luke even picked up a special gift for Deon, while they all enjoyed exploring the shop’s magical treasures. The shop also offered workshops where you could craft your own wands and other wizarding wonders—how cool was that?
After their magical morning, the group visited Parliament House for a bit of history and culture. Simon impressed everyone by naming several prime ministers’ paintings, much to his own excitement. Luke had a blast too, chiming in with a cheerful “yeah” every time Simon nailed a name. They both had a great time soaking up the history and humor along the way.
Next on the agenda was an epic stop at Virtual Reality Canberra, where the guys had an absolute blast! The staff were amazing, making sure Simon and Luke were well looked after as they dove into virtual worlds filled with excitement and adventure. It was definitely a highlight of the day.
The fun didn’t stop there. They headed to Canberra Central Mall for some retail therapy. Luke scored big, finding two long-sleeve tops—one for just $5 and the other for $3! Simon, on the other hand, picked up a Where’s Wally book, which he looked forward to enjoying at home.
To finish off their action-packed day, they met up with Luke’s family for dinner at an Irish pub in Civic. The meal was filled with conversation, laughter, and great company, wrapping up the day on a high note. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and the boys especially loved sharing stories and laughs with Luke’s family.
