Digby loves being part of the Kurrajong team
Factory hand Digby Thomas is definitely what you’d call a bit of a character.
A part of the Kurrajong Timber team for the past “3 or 4 years, I can’t remember”, Digby loves to share a joke and a bit of banter with his co-workers, and can always be counted on to bring a smile to the face of those he’s working with.
Spending two days at Kurrajong Timber, where were does various tasks in what is known as “the shed” – the primary timber processing area of the enterprise. Digby also works two days at Kurrajong Recycling, where his favourite section is the paper shredding.
Asked what he likes best about working at Kurrajong, he gives a cheeky smile before jokingly saying “my days off”.
It’s clear by the smiles though that while he may indeed love his days off, he also loves being part of the Kurrajong team.
