Daily Living Skills are things that you need to complete in your everyday life. These may be things like cooking, budgeting, catching public transport, cleaning, personal care and much more.

A variety of our Kurrajong services can provide Daily Living Skills Supports – both in group settings and individually, depending on your needs. We can come to your house to provide these supports, or we can work on these skills in our facilities.

What you would like to learn is up to you. Our goal is to help you to grow your confidence and independence to be able to complete these tasks on your own or with less assistance.

Some examples of the skills we can help you work on are:

  • Household skills like cooking, cleaning and doing laundry
  • Shopping for food and other items
  • Money and budgeting
  • Personal care
  • Taking medication
  • Catching public transport
  • Connecting with the community and making friends

If you’ve got a specific skill in mind and it’s not on this list, give us a call! The funds for this area of the NDIS are flexible, and we can tailor-make a plan just for you and your individual goals.
