What are Therapy Services?

At Kurrajong Therapy Plus, we are very proud of our unique multidisciplinary service. Kurrajong services people with disability of all ages and children with developmental delays and provides paediatric services.

The benefit of having a multidisciplinary team of therapists like ours is that we can work collaboratively within our team to develop a complementary therapy plan where multiple therapy types are required.

Therapy Services at Kurrajong

Our multidisciplinary team covers Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Paediatric & Early Childhood Intervention, education and more.

Speech Pathology

Speech Pathologists study, diagnose and treat communication disorders, including difficulties with speech, language, fluency and voice.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists support individuals in everyday tasks like dressing, eating, writing, and social participation. Our OTs assist both adult and paediatric clients with various conditions to improve daily living skills.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists specialise in diverse disabilities, medical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions. We employ evidence-based assessments and interventions, partnering with families to maximise potential from infancy to adolescence.

Education

Educators support families in all areas of, learning, and social and emotional well-being. They work with you and your child one-on-one at Preschool or school, at home, and through our transition to school and social learning groups.

DSS Funding Support

Kurrajong’s educators support clients in the Department of Social Service Children and Parenting Support program. To attend this program, your child will be required to complete the developmental ages and stages test and score below in 2 child developmental milestones areas.

Allied Health Assistance

Allied Health Assistants implement programs with clients in one on one and group sessions to help them work towards achieving the goals set by our multidisciplinary team.
