Where Community Grows Together
Welcome to Hildasid Farm — a vibrant community space where people of all abilities come together to learn, grow, and thrive.
Located at 24 Gregadoo Road in Wagga Wagga, Hildasid Farm is a not-for-profit initiative by Kurrajong where something truly special is growing. Every day, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers work alongside people of all abilities to deliver programs that educate, empower, and inspire.
The farm is also home to our Wagga Lifestyle Choices hub — a vibrant space where people with disability take part in a range of meaningful, goal-focused day programs designed to support independence, skill development, and social connection.
Our Lifestyle Choices hub at Hildasid is located in a dedicated, purpose-built space designed to support people with disability in a safe and welcoming environment. From here, clients can work towards their goals through tailored programs that focus on building independence, developing life skills, and connecting with the community through recreation, volunteering, and creative pursuits.
Hildasid’s fully accessible sensory garden is an inclusive space designed to be enjoyed by people of all abilities — including our clients and the wider community. Thoughtfully landscaped with sensory-rich elements, it offers opportunities for exploration, relaxation, and connection with nature. At its heart is a peaceful meeting area, perfect for quiet moments, reflection, or small group catch-ups in a calming environment.
Hildasid’s accessible bike paths wind through the property, offering a safe and inclusive way for clients to enjoy physical activity, build confidence, and explore the natural surroundings. Designed with accessibility in mind, the paths accommodate a range of mobility needs and provide a fun, low-impact way to support health, independence, and wellbeing.
Hildasid’s community garden is a thriving space where people of all ages and abilities can grow, learn, and belong. Lovingly nurtured by our passionate horticulturalist, Dee, the garden evolves with the seasons — offering clients and visitors the chance to explore sustainability, get their hands dirty, and enjoy fresh, seasonal produce. As we continue to grow, our vision is to create a productive garden that supports the broader Kurrajong community and welcomes all who visit Hildasid Farm.
Hildasid Farm is home to a range of friendly therapy animals, including a miniature pony, alpacas, sheep, chickens, and soon, miniature donkeys. These animals play a special role in supporting wellbeing, offering opportunities for calm connection, confidence-building, and gentle outdoor activity through guided walks and care routines.

We are a not-for-profit community farm built on inclusion, opportunity, and connection. Every day, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers work hand-in-hand with people of all abilities to create meaningful programs that educate, empower, and uplift.
But we cannot do it alone. Every dollar donated goes directly into developing programs, improving accessibility, and creating new opportunities for people with disability.
Foster joy, calm, and connection. We expect the arrival of our 2 new Miniature donkeys on farm in October. Our Pony Blu has been trained to walk alongside our clients by our Farm hand Rob. He has brought his knowledge to the farm and all the animals (3 Cheeky Steers, 2 Aloof Alpacas, 4 Shy Sheep and 1 Smoochy Pony) are very happily co existing. Clients and Visitors are enjoying walking Blu and feeding him the occasional treat as he walks around the farm with them. Our chickens are finally on site and residing in the Taj Mahal of Chicken Caravans! Our clients are enjoying taking care of the chooks and collecting their ‘golden’ eggs.
Offering skills training, social enterprise, and great coffee with purpose. We hope to raise vital funds to get this off the ground. Kurrajongs mobile café will not only upskill many of our clients through employment preparation, but also highlight the delicious treats created by our catering team and create an opportunity for social interaction welcoming the community to Hildasid as well as using the mobile café at locations around the Riverina.
Designed for all abilities to explore sound, rhythm, and expression. Here at Kurrajong Hildasid farm we LOVE music. Any chance to get out and create a vibe is always taken by our clients and staff. Our gorgeous nature walk has created more space for everyone to roam and ride bikes around the farm. Taking this one step further and having an immersive musical experience on farm by ways of giant percussion play would enhance the love of music and motor skills and education for our Kurrajong Community.
We have begun to create a space on the farm to give clients and their support teams a chance to relax in nature whilst learning outdoor skills and sleeping under the stars! All we need now is the outdoor equipment to facilitate this new program.
Our Community Garden has been lovingly brought into each season by our passionate horticulturalist and gardener, Dee. She has created a flourishing space where clients and visitors to the farm can learn about sustainability and eat the delicious seasonal produce. We are slowly building our garden to be able to sustain larger numbers and in time, create ongoing production gardens for our Kurrajong community at large and our visitors to enjoy.
Our emerging Mini Farmers program for school groups, and children of all abilities, aims to give young people hands-on experience with farming, cooking, art, animals, and nature. We have been trialling this at the farm, and with a few more helping hands we will be able to sustain running School holiday programs and term programs for everyone.
