Our Community Gardens will play an important role in engaging the community with Hildasid Farm. Because of this, we have been working to improve the health of the soil in our existing WaterUps raised garden beds.
It is exciting to see we are making real progress through finding an abundance of garden worms in our beds which is a first for Hildasid.
Vince Hunt, who developed the original concept plan for Hildasid Farm recently returned from Northern NSW and spent a week helping to develop the farm plan in greater detail and spending time with the farm team in the Community Gardens.
Hildasid Farm Coordinator, Ian, and live-in caretaker Robyn are pictured working with Vince as they improve the soil health.
Imagine what our summer crops will produce with these worms at work!
Watch this space for details of our WaterUps distributorship starting soon.
We rely on the generosity and support of the community to grow Hildasid.
